The International Infectious Disease and Global Health Training Program will not just talk about international research but will operationalize it through a network of international training sites, rotating courses and a diverse network of research practicum sites. Trainees will visit these sites and work and learn alongside Canadian-based and international trainees and mentors on a diverse range of research topics. Canada needs internationally-trained multi-disciplinary researchers who can bring their wealth of knowledge and experience back home to improve the health of Canadians and all peoples of the world. The IID&GH Training Program can help realize that vision.
